At Grateful Giraffe Coffee Co., every cup tells a story—one of gratitude, adventure, and purpose.
Our journey began long before the first bag of coffee was ever roasted. Owner, Jordan Ebie always had a love for coffee, but in the fall of 2020, something shifted in his thinking. While walking through a local festival with his wife—something they had done many times before—he felt a spark. Booth after booth, a thought settled in his spirit: “You could do this too.” And not just for business—but for something greater. Coffee became the vehicle for that calling.
Years later, in 2026, that spark became undeniable. Jordan felt a clear pull to build something that could go beyond great coffee—something that could eventually grow into a café where the light of Christ shines, where people feel welcomed, seen, and uplifted.
The heart behind our name was born during a simple coffee shop date in 2025. Jordan and his wife were sitting together, coloring, when he sketched out what would become our very first logo—Over the years, giraffes quickly become his favorite animal—their quiet strength, intelligence, and unique perspective inspired him. In that moment, the name Grateful Giraffe Coffee Co. came to life.
“Grateful” isn’t just a word to us—it’s a way of living. Every day is a gift. Even in difficult seasons, there is always something to hold onto, something to appreciate. Inspired by the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22–23, we want to encourage every person who encounters our brand to choose joy, slow down, and practice gratitude in the everyday moments.
Our coffee is crafted for those who crave more than just a caffeine fix. It’s for the adventurers, the early risers, the deep thinkers, the wanderers, the animal lovers—for anyone who finds joy in both the quiet and the wild. Through storytelling, thoughtful blends, and a playful spirit, we aim to create a community-driven experience that feels as meaningful as it is memorable.
Nature plays a huge role in who we are. Whether it’s hiking a quiet trail, heading out for a walk in the streets, or sitting down for a picnic or cookout with family, we’re constantly inspired by the beauty of creation. That love extends into our mission as well, as we look forward to getting involved in our community—including volunteering at our church, local zoos and continuing to grow our connection with the world around us.
